Tentative Itinerary

Obviously any itinerary is going to be flexible, since weather conditions will determine dates and routes. The wishes of crew and guests (and, to be realistic, maintenance issues) will also shape the journey. After a fair amount of research, however, this is the tentative plan:

  • 8/2014 - 11/2014: make our way down the California coast, with a final provisioning layover in San Diego
  • 11/2014 - 4/2015: Mexico, primarily the Sea of Cortez
  • 4/2015 - 7/2015: French Polynesia (Marquesas, Tuamotus, Society Islands)
  • 7/2015 - 8/2015: Cook Islands
  • 8/2015 - 9/2015: TBA; possibilities include Niue, Samoa
  • 9/2015 - 10/2015: Tonga
  • 10/2015 - 11/2015: Fiji
  • 11/2015 - 4/2016: New Zealand
  • 4/2016 - 6/2016: French Polynesia (Australs, Societies)
  • 6/2016 - 7/2016: Line Islands to Hawaii
  • 7/2016 - 8/2016: Return to Seattle
We would love to have family and friends visit us for any leg, any destination, any amount of time. What better way to see an exotic place than to have a free place to stay? An old 44' sailboat isn't the Hilton, but it isn't roughing it, either--and we can vouch for the good food (and we think we can vouch for the good company!). Please don't hesitate to invite yourselves if you find yourself becoming intrigued...
