My apologies to those of you who have kept checking this blog, only to find...nothing!
Pre-trip preparations were so all-consuming that I didn't have a chance to post anything (or even write anything to post). I figured I could write once the voyage began--which I did--then upload when we got to San Diego--which I could not. Internet access was much more difficult to find than I anticipated. But better late than never, I suppose; hopefully these stories will be worth the wait!
