Channel Islands National Park: Santa Rosa Island

The next stop was Santa Rosa Island, where we stopped for just one night. Becher's Bay is very large, and though it was listed as another refuge anchorage (for use in high winds), we felt uncomfortable and moved on the next day.

I was enchanted by the bay, though. The surrounding cliff edges were scalloped, and the reflected light from the chiseled facets created constant changes of light and shadow. Monet would have loved this place!
